Hipster Cop?

This image was taken from an interview GQ did with Ricki Lee 'Hipster Cop' , in doing more research on who this man really is I came across this blog post here , this person had a decidedly different take on Mr. Lee's fame. 

I'm intrigued by this story and the media's fascination with him...so....What are your thoughts on the 'Hipster Cop'?
